MY REVIEW: I've been in the USA since 1999 and never had the chance to eat real Turkish food. Anywhere you go they have an American or local touch. Empire Grill was a great experience and success compared to many others. I was proud and happy to see them doing great bussiness and enjoyed every bite of my food.

MY REVIEW: A wonderful experience! The food, service, decor, everything was great. We definitely will return to this restaurant. We had the lamb which was some of the best we've had in a long time.

MY REVIEW: I rarely rave about a restaurant but Empire Turkish Grill is fantastic. The lunch special is inexpensive and will provide you with more food than most restaurants serve for dinner. The waitstaff is always pleasant and eager to please. I'm thrilled this is one of our neighborhood restaurants.

MY REVIEW: Excellent food, extremely nice and friendly staff and beautiful decor. My wife and I had never had Turkish food, but we were expertly guided by the staff to delicous recommendations. The lamb kebabs and grilled chicken on pepper cream sauce... excellent. The delicious flat bread is baked fresh twice daily. Great also for take out. Dessert pastries are killer also. We plan many more visits... the staff is the best!!!

MY REVIEW: I worked in Turkey for several years and have been back 4 times on vacation. Turkey has some of the best food in the world but it is often dumbed-down and unsuccessful outside Turkey. Given the myriad of ethnic choices in town, Houston has been surprisingly underserved by Turkish places.

We visited Empire Turkish Grill last Saturday with only moderate expectations...... and were delighted by a WONDERFUL meal. Almost all of the meze dishes were excellent - hummus, labni, both the eggplant choices, Imam bayildi and the tarama. My main dish (Iskender Kebab) was as good as any I've had outside Turkey. Two of us ate like kings for $40. Service was great and the place has a nice, friendly feel.

PLEASE give this place a try and help make them a success. They are open 7 days and do takeaway meals as well.

MY REVIEW: My Turkish friend took me here for my birthday. I absolutely enjoyed the whole experience. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was fabulous. The atmosphere was friendly and cozy. And I didn't feel rushed at all. I got the best service I have had in a while. I strongly recommend this restaurant to someone looking for something a little different for a change.

MY REVIEW: One of the best places I have been recently. Houston really needed a place like that. They have that uniqe ambiance, professional staff; you feel like you are at home.Food is really extraordinary. If you are bored of going to the same places and eating the same kind of food all the time Empire Turkish Grill is the place to dine.I really enjoyed and had a great night with my friends.

MY REVIEW: This restaurant is a really nice addition to the west side of Houston and the Memorial area in particular. The food is really great and very reasonably priced. I have tried it twice and enjoyed each visit. The waiters are friendly and helpful and my food both times was absolutely delicious. If you are in the area, try it. I particularly liked the stuffed cabbage leaves served with yoghurt (with absolutely no acidic tang - just smooth flavor in it). The salad was marvelous and I plan on going back again to try the lentil soup. I am going back tonight for dinner. The prices are really reasonable.
